Cool, Smooth, Jazzy was founded over fourteen years ago by Tony Owens of Ticknors Mens Clothier and Richard “Zoom” Scott of Fox 8 News. Tony Owens’ brother passed away after contracting the Aids virus. Tony watched him suffer the physical, emotional and financial hardships of this disease. He had the support of his family to help with cost of medication, counseling, and meeting his day to day expenses. Not many are that fortunate to have that support.

 

 

Since that time, Cool, Smooth, Jazzy have been giving back to the community. Every year Cool, Smooth, Jazzy presents a celebrity hair & fashion show with Renowned Event Coordinator Tonda Lanton  in which partial proceeds from the show as well as company donations are given to a chosen organization.
